YOUNG ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD SCHEME FOR VIBRANT INDIA(YASASVI) YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST(YET) -2022 

Eligibility Requirements for YOUNG ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD 2022

The eligibility requirements for appearing in the exam are as follows: 

• Applicants should be Indian Nationals

• They should be belonging to OBC or EBC or DNT category. 

• They should be studying in identified Top Class Schools. 

• They should have passed Class 8 or Class 10( as the case may be) in 2021-22 

• The annual income of the parents/guardian from all sources should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lacs 

• Candidate applying for Class 9 Exam should have been born between 01-04-2006 to 31-03-2010 (both days inclusive). 

• Candidate applying for Class 11 Exam should have been born between 01-04-2004 to 31-03-2008 (both days inclusive). 

• Both boys and girls are eligible to apply. Eligibility requirements for girls are the same as for boys. 

Instructions for filling online Application 

Form Candidates have to apply for YET-2022 “Online” ONLY by accessing the website: https://yet.nta.ac.in . 

The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted in any case. 

Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

 

More than one application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected. 

It is suggested that the candidate should keep the following ready before filling of the online Application Form: A computer with proper internet connectivity; 

The particulars of a valid Government ID proof; 

The Date of Birth; 

 Govt Identity Details like Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits)/Passport number/Ration Card Number/ Bank Account Number/PAN Number/ Other valid Govt ID/Identity Card issued by the Schools etc; 

Educational/Qualification details; 

Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background; 

Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb; 

Scanned copies of the category certificate, income certificate and PwD certificate, if applicable. ( size 50 kbs to 300 kbs);

 

 List of City of your Choice (Refer Annexure-I ); o A valid e-mail ID as important communications will be made in this e-mail ID; 

A valid mobile number as important information via SMS will be sent to this number.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India has formulated a scheme known as PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) for award of scholarships to eligible candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/SNT) categories, (the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs) studying in Class IX and Class XI in identified Schools across India.

Purpose of the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme

Exam for selection of candidates belonging to OBC, EBC and DNT categories, studying in Class IX and Class XI for award of scholarship for studying in Schools identified by the MSJ&E.

Mode of conducting the Exam : Computer Based Test(CBT)

 Pattern of the Exam

Objective Type comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs)

Duration 3 hours 

Medium English and Hindi 

Date of exam 11.09.2022(Sunday) 

Exam cities Exam will be held in 78 cities across India 

Exam fee Candidates are not required to pay any exam fee.
